Emigrant’s Wake are a Celtic rock band based in Akron Ohio, consisting of Marty Ryan from County Limerick, Patrick Custy from County Clare, and Nikki Custy and Nick Frank from Ohio. Emerging from sessions after Akron Hurling matches, of which all members are a part of, Emigrant’s Wake came together to blend traditional Irish classics with a modern twist. They have defined a sound originating from their experiences playing in prominent Irish bands throughout Ohio and Ireland, and can be found regularly at your local pub, festival or feis.
